This is the first corset I've ever made. I drafted the pattern and constructed it myself. It has 4 layers with the first being the purple poly chiffon, the second being the 2 layers of coutil, and the last layer of tan stretch satin lining. I made the bias tape myself out of a poly satin and hand slipstitched it all the way around. I Used a poly satin ribbon for the lacing, whipstitched the ends and took a poly adhesive tube and heat shrank the ends to secure.
