So back in May, I had the opportunity to work with my internship with Gregory Parkinson again to do the makeup for his Resort collection. Catching up, he told me he applied for the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Fashion Fund. Applying for something like this can mean big things for a designer (publicity, financial support and even mentorship for upcoming designers). Gregory is definitely not new to fashion designing but he is a smaller label and winning this could mean expansion! He's such a talented designer and I learned a lot from him while I interned for him.
Well today, the CFDA announced the finalists and turns out, he's a finalist! Good luck Gregory!
