I'm a JC Girl!
So please excuse this post as I whore myself out in Jeffrey Campbells. If you're a follower of mine, you'll know how much I obsess over their shoes and pretty much starve myself just so I can get a pair of their shoes. I feel like a million bucks every time I wear my JCs!
You can imagine the excitement I felt when I saw these tweets this morning:

Jeffrey Campbells that I can't afford...
but absolutely need!
These are the first non platform shoe that I love by JC that I can't really justify spending that much money on. I love them, they're just too expensive. They're on solestruck if you've go the funds.
Back to my platform/wedge obsession, I finally found the Take 2 draped wedge in my size on Eilatan:
And the she mans! oh the she man. It's on Eilatan too.
So I'm pretty much out of commish on buying JC's until I come up on extra $$$ somehow. I'm so sad though. I know I bought a whole bunch of JC boots but we're still in summer! Maybe I should've thought of a way to strategically purchase summer shoes vs. fall/winter shoes.
Ugh... I wish these shoes that I can't afford would show up to my doorstep somehow. I love JC but they've officially depleted my funds to the point of starvation. LOL. sad face.

Me on Pink Kitten! JC Lovers Unite!
So I found someone more obsessed about Jeffrey Campbell than I am & she just so happened to feature me on her blog:
Her name is Asami and she lives in Japan! Her obsession with Jeffrey Campbell far exceeds anyone I've every known. She has about 120 pairs and counting! That's more than any collection I've ever tried to gather.
Jeffrey Campbell has definitely taken notice. They've already featured her on their blog twice.
WE ARE OBSESSED WITH PINK KITTEN
and
Jeffrey Campbell + Pink Kitten. It’s a romance, a shoe-mance!
What makes her even more hardcore is that living in Japan, she has to pay customs on top of her already not-so-cheap Jeffrey Campbell's to arrive in the mail. Only a true hardcore fan would find their way to them.
Here she is in her Foxy JC's:
She's so cute!!!
You can read her blog here.
You can see her collection of most of her Jeffrey Campbells here.
You can follow her on twitter here.

Karaoke and Bowling
Dress: Forever 21
Suede Fringe Vest: Forever 21
Metal Cuff: Forever 21
Necklace: MAC Certification Necklace
Wedges: Xenon by Jeffrey Campbell
So I posted this look on Lookbook a couple days ago. So I basically strutted around in my sky high Jeffrey Campbells from 10am-3am. All the while working @ MAC Cosmetics, Bowling with friends, and Karaoke.
As much as I love these shoes, they kill me! Platforms for me at least are supposed to = comfort. But these take a toll on the balls of my feet and actually made my second toe (next to the big toe) numb that I had to give my feet a break the next day and wear frumpy flats (I've been wearing JC Platforms like every single day lately...YES even on my days off). These are super tight around your foot that I actually got blisters on my Achilles heel the first time I tried breaking these in since I kept scooting my foot back to the heel since the front part of the straps were really tight. Maybe I just have to wear them more often?
And if you follow me on twitter, you'll know I also went lighter with my hair. It actually looks a lot lighter than it did when I first got it done. I feel like it's getting lighter and lighter with every wash so I try to dry shampoo as often as possible (as gross as that sounds).
So that night after I closed at work, Jerald and I met up some friends and went bowling at Action Lanes in El Monte. After we went bowling we noticed a Karaoke bar inside the bowling alley so we decided we'd go there. People in there were really fucking serious! Some people brought their own VCD/Laserdisk Karaoke songs to sing to. I was like DAAAAAAAMN!! The wait for Karaoke was really long and like any Karaoke bar, it's basically who you know or if the DJ likes you. I waited 50 million songs before I sang this jam that I've always wanted to sing. Real Love - Mary J. Blige:
As you can tell, I was heavily inebriated by the time I got up there. The background vocals are really loud which is why you'll find me covering my ear at certain points just to hear myself....and when you add alcohol and having the background vocals too loud, you get me singing kinda off. LOL.
Enjoy my drunk dancing singing self.
Jeffrey Campbell Foxy WEDGES?!
I came across these from a blog tweeted by Jeffrey Campbell. I'm assuming Fashion Like Heroin works for JC? Her posts show a lot of exclusive shit that I've never seen before.
Love them.

Love them.
Lita on SoleStruck
If you don't know by now or haven't followed my tweets on twitter, you'll know how much I've been obsessing over Lita by Jeffrey Campbell. I wanted to kill myself when the first round of pre-orders were sold out. I tweeted all over the place and direct messaged Solestruck and Jeffrey Campbell himself. With hard determination and perseverance I was able to acquire a pre-order for a black pair in a size 6 with the constant hitting of the refresh button. THANK GOD.
Looks like you can still pre-order these bad babies but the ship dates are pushed further out. GOD THIS SHOE.. IT'S LIKE THE IPHONE 4 FOR JEFFREY CAMPBELL FOR GOD'S SAKE.

Jeffrey Campbell Shoes = Not Gonna Eat for A While
So my daily perusals of Jeffrey Campbell shoes have become an obsession to the point of addiction and I don't want an intervention!
I blogged about "Why Stop" a couple days ago and I saw a blog on the Jeffrey Campbell twitter that chronicled another obsessed JC fan with her wants and finds. On one of her posts, she chronicles that the "Why Stop" would be in black on none other than: Solestruck. A daily check up on the website led me to bust out my credit card and place an order for these babies:
And then another daily perusal of the Karmaloop website offered these babies: The Bond II Boot to me with a $30 discount. I had some money in PayPal that I freed up for these:
but, I came up on these that have been pretty much sold out everywhere in my size: Vienna which is a more than logical substitute.
And in my post on my other blog; Style Insights about Jeffrey Campbell, I mentioned the Mesh Wedge but couldn't really fork up the finds to buy it full price, and then I find it on footnotesonline for sale in all its glory.
I'm just so glad I can finally put a name to the boots I blogged about the couple of days before too: Lita
I hear they'll be online hopefully this month.
AAAAND MY MOST EXCITING NEWS OF THE WEEK REGARDING JEFFREY CAMPBELL WAS THEIR RESPONSE TO MY OUTFIT CHOICES WITH THEIR SHOES:

All Black Everything
I haven't had a real outfit post in some time since most of the looks I've posted on Lookbook, you've seen before and were actually to showcase my designs for Etsy
Nevertheless, I had a really good day on Saturday. It [my really good day] made up for the fact that I work every single day this July 4th weekend. Not only did the AUS Gods bless me (you should feel lucky if you don't know what AUS means), I got officially certified (for my job @ MAC!). It only took me 4 years but I guess it's better late than never LOL.
So the day I got certified I wore this:
- Vintage thrifted leather moto vest

Why Stop Now?
Since it's not enough that I pretty much sold my future kids for all of these Jeffrey Campbells that I currently posess, Why Stop now? LOL.
Those are actually what these babies are called. "Why Stop". They're beauts. Lately I've pretty much only bought only black JC shoes and told myself that if there was the right pair of nude or brown silhouetted shoes that only came in that color, I would buy them.
I remember when the JC Tick shoes came out, I tried a failed attempt at a DIY. LOL
I think I'll buy them the smart way after I've paid my rent and bills. Hopefully they'll still be there in a size 6 waiting for me. That's how I'll know it was meant to be. If you want to buy them for me, feel free.

Clog Lovin' and Metal Fringe Necklace
Sorry for the lack of outfit posts. Most of the time I've been posting my looks on Lookbook. I feel like my blog has been a myriad of posts about shoes I lust over.
So I pretty much wore the same accessories in this outfit in the last post. The necklace is now available on my etsy! In love with these shoes, I couldn't think of any other amazing shoes to wear with this outfit:
Outfit details:
Top: Denim Corset Top from Forever 21
Bottoms: Gap Bermuda Chinos
Bracelet: Swarovski Golf Jet bracelet.
Necklace: Designed and made by me; now available on my etsy.
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell Charli C Clog (obsessed with Jeffrey Campbell if you didn't know already)

Charles Anastase vs Jessica Simpson and Jeffrey Campbell
I'm positively sure I'm not the first to do a post on how lovely these shoes are. There's always an originator in this situation and it is Charles Anastase from his Spring 2009 collection.
Months later, I then stumbled upon the $98 version by Jessica Simpson Dany only to be sold out at the time (which is back in stock by the way, whoooo-fuckin-hoooo!)
And now the literal interpretation of them by the one and only Mr. Jeffrey Campbell for $145:
Desperate in my search, I called all LF Stores in my area and even e-mailed Nasty Gal. LF stores did not have my size and I got a return e-mail from Nasty Gal saying they won't be restocked until September.
So this morning I did a random search again for both of these brands and came up on Jessica Simpson and found them BACK IN STOCK! Wooo hooo! If Jeffrey Campbell had faster re-distribution of these sold out shoes, I would have gotten them but I am elated about getting the Jessica Simpson's all the same. Might I add, they were $45 cheaper.
In this battle, Jessica Simpson won. LOL.

Skeet Skeet on These Jeffrey Campbells
Dolce and Gabanna vs Jeffrey Campbell
And...I've been debating whether or not to get these wedges for the longest but they finally came out on Karmaloop (which is where I prefer to buy JC shoes because of their endless coupons). Solestruck had them for weeks but I ended up getting them $60 less on Karmaloop! Skeet Skeet! LOL. Meet the Jeffrey Campbell Raid:

Jeffrey Campbell: Shoes That Make Me Work.
So those McQueen tributes are love. I'm still combing the earth trying to find Foxy in a size 6. If you find them before I do, let me know.

A Definite Buy Now: Oxfords and Saddles
So, lately I've been really into Oxfords and Saddles as my alternative flat shoe when I'm not wearing my sky high platforms. Everyone knows my love for Jeffrey Campbell can only go so far until I find something knock off worthy.
I loved the Jeffrey Campbell Prospect:
but honestly, $114 for these babies could only get me so far until I found an all black version that was comparable that I could wear for work on my second go to shoe place: Aldo. I scored these babies on sale and for a quarter of what the JC's cost. Here it is:
The Aldo Mintken
Now saddle shoes are in the same category I'd put right there next to oxfords because technically they are. Panelling and tonal colors make them saddle shoes. For men, the guys from StreetEtiquette put it well when they said they were an "all season" shoe. But I remember as a girl, I wore my saddle shoes in high school (since my style was pretty much stand-out-ish too back then) and I bought them from Payless (which they still have) of all places in a kids' size since my feet are pretty much midget feet (size 4.5 in kids).
So my love for saddle shoes have pretty much always been there but now that my style is more refined, I want to upgrade from my PVC-manmadematerials-throwaway-pair of shoes to something that'll actually last longer. I've found:
The more classic Enfield by Bass
The Modern Saddle: Sophie by Vans
And the busy bad-ass/unconventional: Vans Girls x Hellz Bellz Sophie

Solestruck.com might as well clear out my wallet...
I've been really into platform anything lately. As with my previous post on hooker heels, I've found pricier versions with more class. Jeffrey Campbell basically stole all my money when I bought these:
Jeffrey Campbell Splendid
Jeffrey Campbell Charli C Clog
aaaaand these bad babies that I pre-ordered but haven't come yet, the Jeffrey Campbell Clinic
So yeah, I've been tooooo much of a fan of Jeffrey Campbell and first called it out on this post. But, I think I should just sell all I own just so I can have a gajillion pairs of these shoes. I've never worn shoes like these that are so comfy but still feel tall in (being that I'm vertically challenged standing at a stubby 5 feet tall..Lord knows I need all the help I can get). I most recently fell in love with these:
Jeffrey Campbell Dirty Lady
Jeffrey Campbell Raid
And this new brand that I'd never heard of,
Gee Wa Wa Fatale
Ka Wa Wa (poor in Tagalog) me.

Jeffrey Campbell Shoes Spring Preview
Jeffrey Campbell is right next to Dolce Vita in my go to brands for shoes to complete the package as far as outfits are concerned. On their blog today, they released these pictures for a preview of their spring collection. I absolutely love the almost ugly but amzingly beautiful clogs like the Miu Miu ones that Rumi via fashiontoast wore the other day.
